Chicago is on a race to make the city a greener place with many projects under way. The eco-bridge in Monroe Harbor will serve as a recreational space for residents and visitors. The bridge is designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture, and offers view of the city, rowing and sailing on calm water. It is two miles long, and connects two opposite ends of the city center, and Grant Park.
